Configuring Linksys WRT54GP2 SIP Service
(1) In your web browser, go to http://192.168.15.1/Voice_adminPage.htm.
Note: This is a hidden admin page not accessible through the main web interface.
(2) Select “Line 1” on top menu.
(3) The “SIP Settings” should be:
(4) Under “Proxy and Registration”:
(5) Under “Subscriber Information”, enter
Display Name: <Your VoIP Number>
User ID: <Your VoIP Number>
Auth ID: <Your VoIP Number>
Use Auth ID: yes
Password: <Your VoIP password>
(6) Under “Audio Configuration”, change the preferred codec as G729, G711ulaw or G711alaw.
(7) Save your settings. The light for Line 1 at the front of the router should now be on. (You may have to reboot your router though.)
