现在的很多小硬件，类似于router，其实都是一台小电脑，运行着封闭的或者是开放的操作系统。
我们先看看netgear 3500L:

这其实就是一台简单的电脑，有有线和无线网络接口，可以访问网络，有USB接口，可以访问USB外置硬盘，U盘等。
使用 DD-WRT 进行无线网络中继，扩大无线覆盖，网上大多数采用的都是 Repeater 模式，但使用这个模式后，中继无线路由器下的网络是独立的，和主无线网络是不能直接互访的。其实，我们可以采用 Repeater Bridge 模式，在此模式下，中继无线路由器下的网络和主网络是在一起的。
